Euchner-U.S.A., Inc. Safety Switch TX

Description
EUCHNER TX Safety Switches are used to protect personnel by monitoring and interrupting the safety circuit depending on the position of the machine guard. The locking solenoid holds the guard closed until a stored energy hazard has passed. It can also prevent damage to a part in process due to an inadvertent machine shutdown. To meet current worldwide standards, safety interlock components cannot be easily bypassed. These switches have positive opening contacts and redundancy to guarantee that they fail to a safe state. The TX safety switches are narrow metal switches in an innovative design with guard locking. Features Solenoid locking Narrow body style housing Wide funnel actuator opening Rotatable head with top and side entry Actuator overtravel minimizes end stop potential 2 status LED's standard Multiple cable entries Back loading of actuator does not impede solenoid release Custom versions available Benefits Wide actuator entry tolerance Helps overcome actuator mis-alignment Narrow body Perfect for extruded aluminum guarding Manual solenoid bypass Simple front bypass Option rear release Pre-wired plug connector available Reduces installation cost Eliminates mis-wiring Multiple contacts for redundancy and solenoid/door monitoring Optional slide bolt actuator overcomes actuator misalignment High locking force HEAVY DUTY SWITCH! Technical Anodized die-cast alloy housing Environmental protection IP67- oil and dust tight, and water resistant Exceeds NEMA 4 Ambient operating temperature -20 to 80C >1 million mechanical operations 4 sets of contacts Silver alloy, gold flashed Low current contacts Solenoid Mechanical or electrical locking Voltage 24 VAC/DC 110VAC 230VAC Cable entry M20 or NPT
