Fiberglass grate with anti-slip grit (gray color) – 20″ wide x 48″ long x 1 1/2″ thick with 1/2″ x 1/2″ mesh spacing – rated for DIN load class A. This 20″ wide trench drain grate is used where corrosion resistance and ADA compliance are required. The grate comes with an anti-slip grit on the top that is particularly useful in wet and slimy environments. Upon request it can be ordered without the traction grit. It is typically used on an 18″ wide prefabricated trench drain or 18″ wide catch basin. The small openings are more prone to clogging, but this grate has a massive amount of open area so it is typically not a problem. Typical uses are trench drains in slick production areas of manufacturing plants and food and beverage plants. We have also seen use of this grating in applications such as pools, kennels, and many other pedestrian areas.
