Ductile Iron Slotted Grate – coated black – 8″ wide x 24″ long x 1.5″ thick – rated for DIN load class E. This is one of our most popular 8″ wide trench drain grates. It is typically used on an 6” wide prefabricated trench drain or 6” wide catch basin. The larger openings plug less often making this grate ideal for the intake of large amounts of water. Typical uses are trench drains in loading docks, parking lots, parking garages, industrial and manufacturing facilities, and any other area where a high intake volume is required.
