3-inch Wide ADA Heel-Proof Stainless Steel Trench Grate- 3″ wide x 24″ long x 0.5″ thick – rated for DIN load class B. For use where traffic, corrosion resistance, ADA compliance, and heel compliance are priorities, this longitudinally slotted trench drain grate is used on a 2” wide stainless steel trench drain or 2″ wide prefabricated trench drain, but may have other applications as intended by the user. The small openings can be prone to clogging but will provide adequate drainage inflow when properly maintained. As the name indicates, ADA heel-proof grates are installed in areas where the user is trying to keep small objects out of the drain, such as the heel of a shoe. The corrosion-resistant nature of stainless steel makes this an ideal grate for both pedestrian and light-vehicular traffic in areas where corrosion may be a concern.
