GAR-FIL,Ñ¢ Filament Wound Bearings with PTFE Tape Liner, specifically part number GF3842, are designed for high-load applications such as valves, scissor lifts, and pulleys. These bearings feature a proprietary filled PTFE tape liner that provides excellent friction and wear properties, along with good chemical resistance. They can operate at a maximum load of 20,000 psi and are suitable for temperatures ranging from -320°F to 400°F. The bearings support high rotational speeds, with a maximum sliding speed of 500 fpm. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.02 to 0.12, depending on operating conditions. Various bearing forms are available, including standard plain cylindrical bushes and custom designs.
