EP® solid polymer plain bearings are self-lubricating, corrosion-resistant bushings designed for dry, lubricated, or marginally lubricated applications in industrial and medical equipment. The bearings are manufactured by injection molding and available in standard plain cylindrical and flanged forms. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 140°C. Maximum static load is 80 N/mm², dynamic load is 40 N/mm², and maximum sliding speed is 1.0 m/s. The coefficient of friction is 0.15-0.30. Material complies with RoHS, ELV, and WEEE specifications. Shaft surface roughness should be 0.2-0.8 μm and hardness greater than 200 HV.
Thermoplastic (PA) base material incorporating friction and wear modifiers and strengthened with fiber reinforcement. EP™ standard range bushes are interchangeable with DU™ standard metric range bushes. Manufactured by precision injection molding. Optimum performance under light-duty conditions.
