The MEC 18 is used to monitor and control duct pressure in multi-story building exhaust applications by modulatign the speed of an exhaust fan. It is a true PID-based control with infinitely variable speed settings as low as 8%.
The MEC 18 is typically used in applications with dryer, kitchen or bathroom exhaust and other building exhaust application, where it can provide substantial energy savings.
The control includes a differential pressure sensor with a transducer, and a stack probe.
