AMR SmartCabinet Series Non-Metallic Meter Cabinets The AMR SmartCabinet was developed for utilities deploying new smart metering/smart-grid technologies and needing a way to protect Radio Frequency (RF) meters while allowing those meters to communicate back to home without using expensive and difficult to protect antennas. With AMR SmartCabinets, you can use any RF meter you want, protecting it in a non-metallic, non-conductive, high-durabiltity cabinet constructed in a material everyone knows, PVC sheet. Features & Benefits: Constructed in durable Type II PVC sheet with V-O Flame Rating and UV Stabilized for long service life Non-metallic material will never corrode, so painting is never required Non-conductive material is inherently safer than steel Cabinet walls allow the unimpeded passing of RF signals, allowing your SmartMeters to operate without the need for expensive and delicate external antennas.
