The Rosemount OCX8800 Oxygen and Combustibles Transmitter is designed for continuous and accurate measurement of combustion flue gases. It utilizes a patented zirconia oxygen sensor and a catalytic bead technology combustibles sensor, capable of operating in flue gas temperatures up to 2600 ¬8F (1427 ¬8C). The device supports FOUNDATION Fieldbus and HART communication protocols, allowing for remote diagnostics and operational monitoring. The local operator interface (LOI) facilitates commissioning and maintenance without the need for additional tools. The transmitter features robust sensors that enhance longevity in the presence of sulfur and other contaminants. It is available with various probe lengths and materials, including 316 stainless steel, Alloy 600, and ceramic, each rated for specific temperature limits. The compact explosion-proof housing simplifies installation directly onto the process.
The OCX 8800 with its rugged design, stable sensor, electronics and software package, is the most dependable oxygen/combustibles transmitter on the market. The time-tested and world renowned zirconium oxide sensor is the basis for the oxygen measurement. This, coupled with the new combustibles sensor can detect oxygen and combustibles concentrations in flue gases with temperatures up to 2600°F (1427°C).
