The ComEth4345a is built on a highly integrated Gigabit switch engine and PHY transceivers and is part of our 434x family of 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches and routing engines featuring a wide range of front and rear I/O configurations. Its matrix combines a full layer 3 router with optimized power consumption. The ComEth4345a supports full-wire speed L2 bridging and L3 Unicast and Multicast routing with L2-L4 advanced traffic classification, filtering and prioritization. Its design enables creation of a ring of up to 15 ComEth434x connected to form a unified switching architecture. A rapid failover algorithm authorizes a healing delay of less than 20ms on 10G ports.
