Heat Shrink Tubing, 3 Shrinkmate (part number 85AC1247) is designed for effective EMI shielding and electrical continuity without the need for soldering. This product features a 3:1 shrink ratio and is made from multi-purpose polyolefin or clear medical-grade polyester, with a highly conductive Polymer Thick Film silver inner coating. It is suitable for splicing coaxial cables and forming connections between various components, including solderable and non-solderable surfaces. The tubing operates within a temperature range of -55¬8 C to +135¬8 C and has a dielectric strength of 600 Volts/mil. The resistance of the shrunken tube is approximately 1 ohm per inch, with the overall resistance of any splice determined by the gap between the objects being joined. The product is compliant with RoHS and EU REACH regulations, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including aerospace.
