The Pathway® Model 7236 is controlled locally via front-panel pushbutton, or remotely via DB9 REMOTE port located on the rear panel. The REMOTE port supports both RS232 ASCII command set control and contact open/close control. RS232 ASCII command set includes change switch position, query switch position and lockout front panel pushbutton control.
Model 7236 Base Switch Features:
Switches all (8) RJ45 port channels simultaneously, all (8) signals of each port are switched.
All (24) ports A, B, and COM of each channel are RJ45.
Switch position and signal pathway integrity are maintained during power loss - no interruption of data transmission.
Transparent to data.
LED display provides switch position and power status.
