Model 4145 AB network switch is ideal for automatic fallback applications based on loss of carrier (DCD). Data, handshake, and clock lines of the RS232 interface are supported. Front panel LEDs display the connectivity status & verify power connection at all times. Rugged aluminum case provides maximum shielding. Other control configurations and interfaces are available (Fallback based on data activity is the Model 4121). Switching using latch relays maintain connection during power loss. Transparent to data format and protocol. Optional Remote port allows off-site monitoring and switch management. Copper network switch, LAN switch Network DCD "Watch Dog" Switch keep data flowing. Electro Standards manufactures a wide range of RS232 data network switches.
