CAT5e ONLINE/OFFLINE APPLICATION w/BLUE LED: The drawing illustrates a computer connected to the RJ45 COMMON port with access to a Data Network connected to the RJ45 port A. The computer and Data Network can be disconnected in the OFFLINE position. A customer supplied 3.3 VDC power connected to the Phoenix connector provides power for the BLUE LED. Model 7191 ONLINE / OFFLINE connection does not need any power from the Phoenix connector, only the BLUE LED which indicates ONLINE or OFFINE position.

The Model 7191 Single Channel RJ45 Cat5e Online/Offline Rotary Switch allows the user the capability of connecting two separate devices to ports A and COM via Online or Offline connection. The Model 7191 is provided as a rotary switch and LED mounted to a faceplate with cabled RJ45 and Phoenix connectors for installation into any double gang wall box. No power is required for operation, but power is required for lighting the blue Online status LED if desired.
