Fixed Focus and Adjustable Focus Lens Options Rugged Housing T-slot for Easy Mounting Often used in line scan camera systems for their compact design and their intense line of uniform light, fiber optic line light guides can also be easily used in systems where darkfield illumination is required and a rectangular illumination area is necessary.Housed in rugged, industrial-grade extruded aluminum these line lights can be supplemented with focusing lenses. The sealed lens is protected by an acrylic window and completely encloses the emitting fibers. It focuses light about 1" away into a line approx. 1/4" thick. The variable focus model features an accessible lens that can be positioned relative to the fibers to adjust focus position and line thickness. A T-slot for 1/4-20 square head bolts runs along the length for mounting.
