"A Mighty Midget" A simple single-ended pentode amp that uses inexpensive compactron TV tubes. It puts out about 3 watts per channel, and uses only one (two-section) tube per channel. Audio Output Transformers This package has two GXSE10-8-8K that are 10W, single ended tube output transformer for 8K Ohms to 8 Ohms. Power Transformer The XPWR104-120 power transformer is a 120V, 60Hz. line to 250V (125-0-125) center tapped at 125mA and 6.3V at 2A. Chokes This package has two PXC63-2H-150mA chokes is a 2H, 150mA printed circuit board mounted inductor. Magnet Wire All units are wound with the finest virgin copper magnet wire. All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life. The Core EDCOR uses the finest M6 line grain oriented steel cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack. The Bobbins EDCOR's royal blue bobbin with black finishing tape. Termination The terminations are UL1015, 18 ga. lead wire for the XPWR104-120 and UL1015, 20 ga. lead wire for the GXSE10-8-8K. The PXC63-2H-150mA is designed for printed circuit boards. The end bells are powder coated Gentian Blue (RAL 5010) to add to your tube display and overall appearance.
