The ECX-42 is a surface mount crystal with a 4.0 x 2.5 x 0.8 mm ceramic package, designed for wireless, PCMCIA, and high-density applications. It operates in a temperature range of -10 to +70°C with a frequency stability of ±50 ppm over that range and a frequency tolerance of ±30 ppm at +25°C. The load capacitance is specified as 12 pF, and the shunt capacitance is 5 pF. The drive level is 300 μW, and the maximum equivalent series resistance ranges from 80 Ω for 12.000 to 15.999 MHz down to 40 Ω for 24.000 to 50.000 MHz. The device is RoHS compliant, has an MSL 1 rating, and features a gold finish. Pad connections 1 and 3 are interchangeable.
