Filtered & regulated - the units are normally shipped set for 13.8 volts or27.5 volts. The unit will maintain regulation with input voltages from 96 to 140 VAC. Lightweight - at just 5 - 9 pounds, each of the units in the series compare favorably with competitors weighing as much as 63 pounds.
Over temperature protection - the power supplies will detect excessive temperature conditions and temporarily shut down until a safe operating temperature is reached.

When the battery is fully charged, the DPS output will drop to a minimum value below the trickle charge which stops any over-charging.
