The GPL series oils are unadditized and are recommended for use in nonferrous applications. If rusting could occur, the XP oils should be used. The XP oils have a soluble antirust additive to keep iron from rusting. The oil has low volatility, so it will not evaporate and will provide longer bearing life. It has very high load carrying capacity and consistently gives a high lubrication film thickness at all temperatures to reduce wear and increase component life.
