The MLSG342M040JA0C is a 40 Vdc, 3400 µF aluminum electrolytic capacitor in a slimpack design with a case length of 2.0 inches, stainless steel case, and two 18 AWG copper wire leads with tin-lead electroplate. It operates from -55 °C to +125 °C, has a capacitance tolerance of ±20%, and meets a 5000-hour life test at rated voltage and 125 °C. Ripple current capability is 2 A at 85 °C case temperature and 120 Hz. Vibration resistance is 50 g when not mounted on a JK case. ESR is 0.072 Ω at 120 Hz and 0.068 Ω at 10 kHz. ESL is less than or equal to 30 nH. The case may be insulated with polyester tape, adding up to 0.020 inches to thickness and width.
