The MLP562M063EB0C is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor in the MLP 85°C Flatpack™ series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in high-reliability applications. It features a 3.0-inch case length (EB), a capacitance of 5600 µF, a rated voltage of 63 Vdc, and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%. The part has a maximum ESR of 101 mΩ at 120 Hz and a ripple current rating of 3.7 A at 85°C without a heatsink. It operates from -55°C to +85°C and maintains a 50-year service life at +45°C with a welded, nearly hermetic seal. The case is aluminum with 18 AWG copper wire terminals, and the part supports mounting via two leads without tabs. It meets MIL-STD-202 vibration standards with 10g amplitude and complies with endurance and shelf life tests at +85°C. Thermal resistance and ripple current can be doubled with an external heatsink.
The MLP's high-energy storage and box-shape make it perfect for voltage holdup or filtering in military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs and computer cards. The MLP delivers up to 20 joules of energy storage in a 1/2"" height with 50 year's life at +45 °C. You can readily heatsink it to double the ripple-current capability. The MLP is the square-peg component that fits the square-holes in electronic assemblies.
