The MLP383M016EB1E is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor in the MLP 85°C Flatpack series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in high-reliability applications. It has a 3.0-inch case size (EB), weighs 66 g, and uses polyester insulation with hook leads/no tabs. Rated at 16 Vdc and 38,000 µF with ±20% tolerance, it has a maximum ESR of 31 mΩ at 25°C and ripple current ratings of 9.0 A at 120 Hz and 9.6 A at 20 kHz at 85°C case temperature. Ripple current can be doubled to 13 A when heatsinked, with a thermal resistance of 1.3 °C/W when both sides are insulated. ESL is less than 30 nH at 1 MHz, and it supports environments up to 80,000 feet altitude.
