The MLP173M010EK1E is a flatpack aluminum electrolytic capacitor in the MLP series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in high-reliability applications. It has a 1.5-inch EK case, 17,000 µF capacitance at 10 Vdc, and ±20% tolerance. The nearly hermetic welded seal ensures 50-year life at +45 °C, with operation from -55 °C to +85 °C. Ripple current is 4.2 A at 120 Hz and 4.5 A at 20 kHz, with ESR max of 77 mΩ. Weight is 30 g. Mounting uses tabs, and the '1' in the part number indicates polyester insulation.
