The Type 500C aluminum electrolytic capacitor with screw terminals is designed for high-ripple, long-life applications in power supplies and UPS systems. It operates from -40 °C to +95 °C with a rated voltage of 50 Vdc and a capacitance of 200,000 µF. The part features Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction, a 3 1/2 inch diameter and 5 1/8 inch length, and meets endur¬ance specifications of 5000 hours at 85 °C. It has a capacitance tolerance of -10% to +50%, a maximum ripple current of 36.8 A at 120 Hz and 85 °C, and a maximum ESR of 5.4 mΩ at 25 °C. The terminal is a high post style, and the case is insulated with PVC and polypropylene.
