Dover Flexo Electronics, Inc. Pneumatic Disk Brake 90

Description
The 90 Series Dual Disk Brake, named for its nine-inch (9") diameter disks, offers high performance in a torque range from 14 lb-inches up to 3,000 lb-inches. As an integral part of a high-performance unwind package, the 90 series brake delivers the appropriate torque level needed for a particular application by allocating actuation of the appropriate number of cylinders, from one up to four. The term 90 ‘Series’ is derived from ‘9’ inches plus our use of the second digit in the range of values from 91 to 94 to signify the number of friction pads selected for a given brake. Aside from their heavy-duty, ductile iron disk construction and expanded surface for rapid heat dissipation, 90-Series brakes feature DFE’s time-proven Universal Actuator technology: Hassle-free changeout of worn pads, without tools, via push-button spring locks Limited-travel pistons that can’t scratch the disk Cylinder return springs that cannot puncture the diaphragm Able to be retrofit into dual disk brakes of other manufacturers DFE’s popular ‘No-squeal Warranty’ SPECIFICATIONS: Disk/Hub Inertia7.9 Slug-in2 Max. Torque3,000 in-lbs. Disk/Hub Weight28.4 lbs. Max. Ship Wt.45 lbs. Min Shaft Length7.1 in.
