Douglas Electrical Components PotCon™ Miniature Circular Connector PBTR 24023

The PotCon line of hermetic feedthroughs incorporates standard connectors and/or wire harnesses in a single, fully-sealed housing. This line features disconnectable connectors at the pressure/vacuum interface as well as the ATM interface which allow for easy mating and unmating during install. Seal a variety of connectors - including Mil-C series, circular plastic, sub-D (including standard density and micro-D), coaxial, waterproof, thermocouple, high-current and high-voltage. Multiple configurations, including: Connector-to-wire configuration, standard connector-to-connect or and connector-to-solder cup designs; Standard pin-to-pin or socket-to-socket configurations; unique pin-to-socket design. Testing conducted on these feedthroughs and optional mating connector/cable sets includes Helium Mass Spectrometry Leak Detection to an allowable leak rate of 1.0 x 10^-10 sccm He/second, electrical hi-pot tests up to 30KV and electrical continuity. The PBTR series is our most common potcon series. Either ordered through our catalog or ordered via custom configuration, the ability of the mating connectors to mate has proven invaluable in the space simulation field where bench top testing is a critical pre-experiment test. Connectors can be clocked at the customer's discretion and these connectors are available in thermocouple configurations.
