DIODES Incorporated Single Bipolar Transistors FZT589TC

FZT589 is a PNP bipolar transistor designed for medium power applications, featuring a collector-emitter voltage rating of -30V and a continuous collector current of -1A. It is packaged in an SOT223 surface-mount case with a thermal resistance from junction to ambient of 62.5°C/W when mounted on a 25mm x 25mm 2oz copper PCB under still air conditions. The device has a power dissipation rating of 2W, a saturated collector-emitter voltage of less than -0.35V at -1A, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and constructed with a "Green" molding compound meeting UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The transistor is rated for 4,000V ESD HBM and is qualified to JEDEC standards for high reliability.
