DIODES Incorporated Voltage Regulators - Linear AP7312-1533FM-7

The AP7312-1533FM-7 is a dual fixed output linear voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 150mA. It features a low dropout voltage of 150mV at full load and a very low quiescent current of approximately 60OºA, making it suitable for low power applications. The device operates within a wide input voltage range of 2V to 6V and offers fixed output options including 1.5V and 3.3V. The AP7312 includes built-in protection features such as current limit, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown to safeguard the IC under fault conditions. It has a fast start-up time of 60¬µs and is stable with low ESR ceramic output capacitors of 1¬µF. The regulator is available in SOT26 and DFN2018-6 packages and is compliant with RoHS standards. This product is particularly well-suited for applications in cellular phones, smartphones, PDAs, and Bluetooth headsets. However, it is noted that this part is not recommended for new designs, with alternatives suggested such as the AP7342 and AP7346.
