The DVE-SPYDER display is an advanced Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE) display that offers DSE's intellligent display technology. A unique design feature of the DVE-SPYDER display is an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The internal DVR provides real-time recording and playback of high frame-rate (30 fps) 24-bit hi-resolution imagery. The DVR stores up to 8 hours of recording time on its 8G solid state disk drive and offers MPEG-4 data compression for on-display video playback. A USB video download port is available along with accurate frame time stamping up to 1/100th of a second. Options such as night vision compliance (MIL-STD-3009 Class B) and programmable buttons via RS422 protocol are available on the rugged DVE monitor. The DVE-SPYDER display offers LED backlighting (1000:1 dimming ratio) and enhanced sunlight readability for high brightness situations.
