DeWAL DW 904-1 is a circuit board tape made from 1 mil polyester film with a silicone adhesive. It is designed to provide optical clarity, making it suitable for applications where visibility is important. The tape features good solvent resistance and is capable of clean removal at elevated temperatures. It has a maximum operating temperature of 154¬8C (310¬8F) and offers adhesion values of 458 g/cm (41 oz/in). The tape is available in widths ranging from 0.25 mm to 17 mm (6.35 inches to 432 inches) and comes in a roll length of 36 m (33 yards). Typical applications include masking metal parts during bonding or mild acid etching, electrical insulation, splicing tape for silicone liners and paper, and epoxy bonding of aircraft parts.
DW 904-1 uses 1 mil polyester film coated with silicone adhesive.
The silicone adhesive will release cleanly.
This tape product is transparent for applications where optical clarity is important.
