The S9111A-T6017-27 is a double-ended, inline miniature speed reducer with a 1.0625-inch outer diameter, designed for Bu-Ord size 11 servomotors and compatible with mounting dimensions specified by Bu-Ord OP 1755. It features a 94.1:1 reduction ratio, zero-backlash design, and ball bearings throughout. Maximum backlash is 30 arc minutes, rated output torque is 30 ozf-in, and maximum starting torque is 0.01 ozf-in. The output shaft rotates in the same direction as the input. The housing is black-anodized aluminum, and gears are made of hardened 416 stainless steel with aluminum bronze stages. The unit can be converted to low-backlash or anti-backlash configurations on special order.

Our MGX gearheads are attachable to the U.S. Bureau of Ordnance (Bu-Ord for short) frame-size servomotors without modifications to the input pinions and without complicated adapters, screw threads, etc., thanks to the versatile mounting clamps supplied. Mounting dimensions are identical to Bu-Ord OP 1755 motor dimensions.
Our speed reducers are offered in low and zero backlash options, with single- and double-ended shafts. They are available in Bu-Ord sizes 11, 15, and 18 and with an O.D. of 1-1/16”, 1-7/16”, and 1-3/4”.
