Stock Drive Products & Sterling Instrument - SDP/SI The differential gear is assembled free when ordered with differential unit. S1249Z-064S100C

Description
In a standard differential, two output shafts distribute a load imparted on them from an input shaft at different speeds. A differential contains a pinion (bevel) gear [A] on the input shaft, where the load is transmitted. The pinion mates with a [B] carrier or ring (bevel) gear at 90°. Mounted to the carrier gear are two symmetrically placed spider (bevel) gears at 180° (this is to prevent bending stresses in the output shafts). [C] The spider gears spin on their own axes and along the carrier gear. They mesh with two gears on either side, connected to the output shafts [D]. SDP/SI offers differentials with hollow and solid shafts and anti-backlash properties. Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The S1249Z-064S100C differential gear is designed for use in standard differentials, featuring a 20¬8 pressure angle and constructed from 303 stainless steel or 2024 aluminum with anodized finish. This gear is compatible with various bore sizes and is available with a face width of 3/32 inches. It is assembled free of charge when ordered with the corresponding differential unit. The gear has a pitch diameter of 1.5625 inches and is available with 100 teeth. Special orders can accommodate different pressure angles, bore sizes, and materials, including passivation for stainless steel. This product is suitable for applications requiring precise load distribution and speed variation between output shafts.
