KMBSA5-2040L is a metric spiral bevel gear with a module of 5, 20 teeth, left-hand helix, and a finished bore. It is made of SCM415 steel with overall carburizing heat treatment, resulting in a tooth hardness of 55-60 HRC. The gear conforms to JIS B 1704:1978 grade 4 precision. It has a pitch diameter of 109.2 mm, outside diameter of 125 mm, overall length of 53 mm, bore length of 51 mm, face width of 34 mm, and a bore diameter of 55.05 mm. The mounting uses two M8 taps, with a holding torque of 0.14-0.34 N·m and a bending torque capacity of 1.96 N·m. The gear generates axial thrust forces and permits no secondary machining due to carburizing.
