A 6G 6-096 series timing belt is a 40 D.P. (2.07 mm pitch) synchronous belt with polyester cord reinforcement, designed for power transmission in precision drive systems. It is available in 3/16 inch (4.5 mm) width, with a belt length corresponding to 96 teeth. The belt has a polyurethane body and operates continuously between -18°C and +82°C, with intermittent exposure up to +121°C. Breaking strength is 80 lbf per 1/8 inch of belt width for belts with fewer than 151 grooves, and 130 lbf per 1/8 inch for belts with 151 or more grooves. The product is single-sided and compatible with inch-standard pulleys.
