A 1M 3-Y32064 is a 32-pitch bevel gear with 64 teeth and a 1:4 ratio, featuring a pitch diameter of 2.000 inches, an outer diameter of 2.009 inches, and a bore size of 31/64 inch. The hub has three evenly spaced recesses and a length of 0.252 inches. It is designed for 20° pressure angle operation and is made from acetal material. The gear has a non-full-diameter hub with recesses and is intended for use as a mating gear in precision mechanical systems.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another.
