The SR4310xL series panel-mount receptacles from Datakey are designed to interface with SlimLine,Ñ¢, Extended SlimLine, NFX, and RUGGEDrive,Ñ¢ memory tokens. This series includes three versions: the SR4310SL (IP65-rated for splash-proof applications), the SR4310IL (IP67-rated for immersion), and the SR4310EL (IP67-rated with EMI reduction features). The receptacles feature a Molex CLIK-Mate,Ñ¢ connector for secure cable connections and corrosion-resistant gold dot contacts that ensure reliable performance over a minimum of 50,000 insertion/removal cycles. The design incorporates a wiping mechanism to maintain contact cleanliness and a detent mechanism for tactile engagement confirmation. The receptacles are easy to mount from the front of the panel and include a gasket for sealing against environmental ingress. They are rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -40¬8C to +85¬8C and can withstand humidity levels of 5% to 95% (non-condensing). The SR4310xL series is suitable for applications requiring robust environmental protection and reliable token detection.
The SR4310xL series panel-mount receptacles mate with all Datakey’s serial memory SlimLine™, Extended SlimLine, NFX, and RUGGEDrive™ memory tokens. This series is designed with custom mounting features and details to provide enhanced water protection. The receptacle body has a 2-piece construction – combining the field-proven SlimLine receptacle frame/contact system on the inside with a tough outer “shell” that provides additional strength and environmental protection. The receptacle is available in a “splash-proof” (i.e. IP65, SR4310SL) version and an immersion rated (i.e. IP67, SR4310IL) version. It is also available with the outer shell molded in a highly conductive material to provide EMI reduction (i.e. IP67 & EMI, SR4310EL) through both reflection and absorption. The SR4310xL series of receptacles features a Molex CLIK-Mate™ wire-to-board PCB connector to provide a secure mating connection to the cable. The SR4310xL series is available in both an IP65 rated version (SR4310SL) and IP67 rated versions (SR4310IL & SR4310EL) for applications where preventing water ingress is needed.
EMI Reduction
The SR4310EL model features an outer shell molded in a carbon-loaded composite and uses an electrically conductive silicone gasket to provide EMI reduction through both reflection and absorption.
