Darco Southern, Inc. manufactures luting and groove packing from the same high quality TETRAGLAS-T® cloth that is used in the manufacture of its other folded products.
Plain Tetraglas® cloth is frictioned with a blend of natural or SBR rubber compound from which the packing sizes are carefully formed in solid construction and squared to accurate dimensional size.
Finished packing has a light talc dusting and is supplied in standard 25 ft. lengths, coil form. For use as an alternative to asbestos luting and groove packing for door gasketing at temperatures to 550°F.
