The large rotor and neodymium magnets of the 42L048D provide up to 18.5 oz-in (131 mNm) of holding torque and is optimal for high torque applications. The 48 steps per revolution results in a 7.5 degree step which increases the positional resolution. It is available in 5 or 12 volt windings, and in unipolar or bipolar designs.
