Venting Cap Plugs Purpose Ultrabake™ Venting Cap Plugs are designed to mask plain and threaded studs or holes; there is a small nipple on the top of the mask which can easily be punctured or removed to form the small vent. The masks then mask off the hole or stud and allow trapped air to escape from inside the cap through the vent.
How the product is used When used as a cap the cap is applied by being pushed over the stud, as the cap is pushed onto the stud the trapped air will escape from the inside of the cap allowing the operator to push the cap down into position. It can then be removed by being pulled off. When used as a plug the plug can be pushed into the hole and air will escape from the plug as the plug is pushed into position.
