Ultrabake™ Thread Mask -
Purpose Ultrabake™ Thread Masks are designed to mask threaded holes; they will mask off the hole and the first thread of the hole. How the product is used The plug is applied by being pushed into the threaded hole until the larger diameter is tight against the face of the thread to be masked. The plug is removed by pulling on the handle.

Flanged - The flanged area masks off the first thread of a threaded hole.
Handle - The handle area above the flanged diameter helps with insertion and removal
Sizes - This series offers sizes specifically designed for metric threaded holes
Shallow - The shallow design is ideal for blind holes and helps speed up the masking process
Long Series - Long series masks have longer handles for hard to reach areas and a longer sealing area
Visible - The handle area above the flanged diameter makes the plug easier to see on the component
Reusable - The plugs are reusable depending on the application
Color coded - The Plugs are color coded to ease identification and sorting
Identification - The Shercon name is on the plug
Storage conditions Items should be stored in dry conditions at an ambient temperature of between 55 ºF (13 ºC) and 85 ºF (30 ºC). It is important to rotate stock and use the product in the order that it is received.
