Ultrabake™ Flangeless Plugs -
Purpose Ultrabake™ Flangeless Plugs are designed to plug threaded holes; they will mask off the hole and can cover a portion of the top thread of the hole to allow painting or coating up to the threads.
How the product is used The plug is applied by pushing the tapered ribbed end of the plug into the threaded hole. It can be "screwed" in, but the profile of the plug is not a thread. The plug can be used on plain bores, but on those, we would recommend the Ultrabake™ UP-SH Series of plugs or a pull plug such as the Ultrabake™ SPP-SH series of pull plugs. The plug is removed by pulling on the handle.

Storage conditions Items should be stored in dry conditions at an ambient temperature of between 55 ºF (13 ºC) and 85 ºF (30 ºC). It is important to rotate stock and use the product in the order that it is received.
