The MSCQ2 series caps and plugs are manufactured of an inherently conductive polymer compound. This non-sloughing material will not "mark" or "crayon" when rubbed against a hard, flat, laminated surface. These non-sloughing caps and plugs, commonly used in military and aerospace, meet the requirements of M 5501/31. These parts offer a volume resistance of 10 to the 5th ohms and are engraved with the EIA RS-471 electrostatic discharge symbol per ASTM D 5445 Symbol 2B. Part numbers ending in RQ2 are typically used as caps Material: ICP Compound Standard Color: Dark Green Applicable Specs: MIL-C-5501/31
