When exposed to heat 194°F/90°C the tubing shrinks 50% in diameter, with 5% longitudinal contraction. Controlled shrinkage to exact requirement takes place. This series is designed for maximum mechanical strength at stress or points of connection. It is strong, abrasion resistant and is supplied in expanded sizes. It insulates, jackets, splices, encapsulates, weather-proofs components, connectors, cables and irregular shaped objects. SH275 meets or exceeds UL STD 224, Mil-I-23053B/5 Class 1 (colors), 2 (clear) and Class 3 (highly flame retardant-except for clear). SH275 is UL and CSA approved. AMS 3636 (colors), 3637A (clear). Flame retardant (except clear). In this series, Black and Clear are RoHS compliant. This series is RoHS compliant.
