The 1/4" x 36 yds. - 3M - 924 Adhesive Transfer Tape is a medium-firm acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape with a thickness of 0.002 inches (0.05 mm). It features a strong initial adhesion and good shear holding power, making it suitable for bonding a variety of materials including metals, glass, wood, papers, and many plastics. The tape is reverse wound on a 1-inch diameter core for compatibility with Scotch ATG dispensers. The adhesion to steel is measured at 25 oz/in (27 N/100 mm), and it has a long-term temperature resistance of up to 180¬8F (82¬8C) and a short-term resistance of 250¬8F (121¬8C). The tape exhibits excellent UV resistance and has a shelf life of 24 months when stored properly. It is ideal for applications such as mounting promotional items, picture frame mat boards, and core starting. The recommended application temperature range is between 70¬8F to 100¬8F (21¬8C to 38¬8C).
