We offer a wide range of film snubber capacitors designed to protect switching devices from overvoltage. Our offering includes axial and radial configurations, as well as a full line of low inductance, direct-mount IGBT snubbers. All designs feature high dV/dt capability to meet the peak current demands of inverter switching.
Type 940C round, axial film capacitors use polypropylene film and double metallized electrodes for both self healing properties and high peak current carrying capability (dV/dt). This series features low ESR characteristics, excellent high frequency and high voltage capabilities.
