The HBD is a back-to-back, 1:1 pancake style harmonic gear set used for phase shifting and rotary positioning differential applications. It is most often applied in printing, converting, and packaging applications where the input shaft is held stationary except when making intermittent registration / phase shifting adjustments. Also available as a complete shaft mount differential gearbox. Conic gear systems are used in precision automation, robotic and industrial applications and are known worldwide for high precision, durability and long life.
