The PL160-101L is a surface-mount planar transformer designed for applications up to 160 watts, operating between 200 kHz and 700 kHz with a nominal 48 V input. It features 4 primary turns and 5 secondary turns, a primary inductance of 312 µH minimum, a primary DCR maximum of 14.7 mΩ, and a secondary DCR maximum of 18.5 mΩ. The transformer provides 1500 Vrms isolation between primary and secondary, a volt-time product of 168 Vµsec, and 0.009 inch (0.229 mm) clearance above the PCB. It has a height of 0.352 inch (8.94 mm) and weighs 12.0 to 12.8 grams. The component is rated for operation from -40°C to +125°C, meets AEC-Q200 Grade 1 qualifications, and uses matte tin over nickel over brass terminations. It is packaged in trays of 36 and can be special ordered with an auxiliary winding.
