Clippard Modular 4-Way Electronically Piloted R-481

The R-481 is a modular 4-way electronically piloted valve from Clippard, designed as a hybrid of the R-401 valve and the ET-3 electronic/pneumatic valve. It features a fully ported design with five ports and requires a pilot pressure of 40 psig at port 4 for operation. The valve operates within a working pressure range of 0 to 150 psig and has a flow rate of 9 scfm at 100 psig. It is capable of continuous duty at 150% of the rated voltage, with a power consumption of 0.65 watts at the rated voltage. The operating temperature range is from 32¬8F to 180¬8F. The valve's micro gap construction ensures snap action with no blow by, and it utilizes a standard octoport plug-in design for easy integration between electronics and pneumatics.
