Model MTV-2K is a solenoid-operated inert isolation valve designed for compatibility with aggressive media. It features a molded PEEK body and utilizes soft elastomeric seals that accommodate particulate matter, enhancing durability. The valve operates with a 2 mm orifice and is available in normally closed configurations. It supports a wide operating pressure range from -700 mmHg to 2.0 bar and has a media temperature range of 5-60¬8C. The MTV-2K has a response time of 30 ms for activation and 7-15 ms for deactivation, with an operating life rated at 9 million cycles. The valve is equipped with a 1/4-28 threaded port connection and is suitable for applications requiring low internal volume and high reliability.
Model MTV-R/K inert isolation valves offer great performance and a choice of wetted materials for compatibility with aggressive media. The valves utilize unique soft elastomeric seals which are forgiving of particulate matter that would typically destroy an inert valve.
The MTV series are available in two way, normally open and normally closed, and three way configurations. Model MTV-2R and -3R valves have molded PPS bodies and Model MTV-2K and -3K valves have PEEK molded bodies. A choice of FPM or Perfluor® seal materials is available.
