The CS8415A-CSZR is a 96 kHz digital audio interface receiver designed for compatibility with EIAJ CP1201, IEC-60958, AES3, and S/PDIF standards. The device features a 7:1 S/PDIF input multiplexer and a flexible 3-wire serial digital output port, accommodating sample frequencies ranging from 8 kHz to 96 kHz. This monolithic CMOS device includes low-jitter clock recovery for improved audio quality and allows for both microcontroller and standalone operation modes. It provides pin and microcontroller read access to channel status and user data, with on-chip buffers for easy data handling.
